Aligarh: As many as 15 students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have been selected by the Azim Premji Foundation through a campus placement drive organised by the Training and Placement Office (General).
The Foundation, a leading philanthropic organisation working towards improving the quality and equity of education, selected students from Social Sciences, Sciences and Arts streams for the role of Associates after multiple rounds of assessment.
The selected students are Rubab Fatima (M.Sc. Chemistry), Sohail Ahmed (MA Economics), Sumna Mariyam, Alfisha Ansari and Arooj Ahmad Wani (MA Philosophy), Uzma Sadmani, Anas Ahmad and Sarah Qudsia (MSW), Atiya Faridi (MA English), Noor Jahan Aara and Misbah Qureshi (MSc Statistics), Rooh-Ul Aman and Murshid Ansari (MSc Physics), and Shah Tooba and Shyfa Bano (B.Ed).
Congratulating the students, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohd. Mohsin Khan said that their selection reflects strong academic grounding, commitment to social impact and the holistic education imparted at the university.
Mr. Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General), AMU said that the representatives of the Foundation appreciated students’ dedication, clarity of thought and alignment with its vision during the selection process.
