New Delhi: A free Unani medical camp was organised on Saturday at the Press Club of India, New Delhi, in collaboration with All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC) and the Press Club of India (PCI). This was the 155th camp organised by AIUTC, and a large number of people benefited from it, consulting doctors about their ailments.
On this occasion, Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan, the moving spirit and Secretary General of AIUTC, said that in 2021 they had decided to hold 150 camps within five years, and that this is their 155th camp, showing that they are working in accordance with their mission.
He said that today a large number of people have faith in the Unani system of medicine and are benefiting greatly from it. A large number of people are benefiting from their free camps, and AIUTC is quite active in popularising the Unani system of treatment among the people. Since Unani medicines have no side effects, people are increasingly drawn to them.
In response to a question, he said there is no doubt that both junk food and modern lifestyles have their own side effects, which affect digestion and sleep. As a result, people fall ill from eating junk food and their health is affected, which is why they place greater trust in treatment methods that show quick results.
The camp continued from 3 pm to 6 pm, and the doctors examined patients’ conditions with great attention. Doctors Zakiuddin, Shakeel Ahmed, Ehsan Ahmed Siddiqui, Mahmood Alam, Faizan Ahmed Siddiqui, Ghiyasuddin Siddiqui, Mohammad Parvez Qureshi, Mohammad Rafique, Shamsuddin Azad, Khursheed Alam, Zamir Ahmed, Hakim Murtaza Dehlvi, Faheem Malik, Shariq Ali Siddiqui, Israr Ahmed Ajeeni, and Mohammad Imran Kannauji rendered valuable services in making this camp a success.
In addition, senior journalists Syed Mujahid Hussain and Abdul Bari Masoud attended the programme as special guests.
