New Delhi, Sep 7: The 93rd Free Unani Medical Camp, organized by the All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC) in collaboration with Being Happy Foundation, was held at Batla House, here today. The camp aimed to promote the benefits of Unani medicine and its traditional practices.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan, Secretary General of the All India Unani Tibbi Congress. Dr. Khan expressed gratitude to all the supporters, emphasizing that no initiative succeeds without the dedication of its volunteers. He credited the success of their movement to the committed community behind it.
Dr. Habibullah, the chief guest, highlighted the significance of spreading awareness about Unani medicine, describing it as a pure and effective treatment method that needs to be widely known. Professor Fazlullah Qadri, another distinguished guest, stressed the need to instill a genuine passion for Unani medicine among students, calling for curriculum changes and strategic planning in this regard. He also acknowledged the pivotal roles played by Hamdard and Hakim Ajmal Khan in establishing Unani medicine as a recognized science in India.
Dr. Badrul Islam Kiranvi discussed the benefits of medical exercises, recommending daily practice for maintaining good health. The event was hosted by Hakim Naeem Raza, who compered the proceedings.
Notable social worker and advocate, Shah Jabeen Qazi, remarked on the camp’s role in serving the community and raising awareness about Unani medicine. She expressed her continued support for such initiatives.
The success of the camp was attributed to the efforts of several key individuals, including Dr. Altaf Ahmad, Hakim Ataur Rahman Ajmali, Hakim Mohammad Murtaza Dehlavi, Hakim Aftab Alam, Hakim Sadiq Khan, Mohammad Moeen Khan, Mohammad Asif, S.M. Noorullah, Shaista, and Sajid.
Dr. Shakeel Ahmad, President of All India Unani Tibbi Congress, Delhi State, thanked all the doctors and supporters for their contributions to the successful execution of the camp.
