New Delhi: The All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC) organized its 96th free Unani medical camp at the Press Club of India here Sunday as part of the Unani Upchar Janta ke Dwar Mission 2025. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Syed Farooq, who congratulated the organization for its tireless efforts in promoting Unani medicine. He highlighted the indispensable role of Tibbi colleges in advancing Unani medicine, noting that they not only provide education and training but also contribute to increasing the number of certified Unani doctors and strengthening the field.
He also emphasized the responsibility of pharmaceutical companies in delivering quality medicines to the public.
Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan, General Secretary of AIUTC, stated that the ongoing efforts to promote Unani medicine through free medical camps are successfully reaching all sections of society. He mentioned that at the camp held at the Press Club, prominent journalists and professionals from various fields benefited from the consultation and Unani medicines provided.
He further noted that Unani medicine continues to be trusted by people for its purity and ancient healing practices.
Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, President of the Delhi State Unani Tibbi Congress, mentioned that the camp saw a large number of patients suffering from common ailments such as colds, coughs, body aches, diabetes, and chronic knee pain, which are often worsened by seasonal changes affecting immunity. He praised the efficacy of Unani medicines in addressing these issues and highlighted the role of the Tibbi Congress in promoting Unani medicine as a movement, with each member fulfilling their responsibilities diligently. Through the organization of camps in various locations, Unani medicine is being effectively brought to the people, resulting in improved health outcomes.
