FDCA Expands Executive Committee to Promote Communal Harmony in Rajasthan

Jaipur, May 22: A special meeting of the Forum for Democracy and Communal Amity (FDCA) was convened at the Gokul Bhai Bhatt Samadhi Sthal complex in Durga Pura, Jaipur, focusing on the theme “Harmony and Us in the Current Situation.”

The meeting, chaired by FDCA President Sawai Singh, featured an in-depth discussion on expanding the organization to foster harmony across Rajasthan. Participants expressed concerns over the current state of communal relations in the region.

A significant outcome of the meeting was the inclusion of 27 new members in the state-level executive committee of FDCA. Retired Judge T.C. Rahul and Father Vijay Paul were appointed Vice Presidents, while Muzammil Rizvi was named General Secretary. The committee also welcomed retired Justice Pana Chand Jain, former DGP Bhoopendra Singh Yadav, Mohammad Nazimuddin, and Abdul Latif Arko as senior members.

Other notable appointees included Shahid Khan, Raman Yadav, Basant Haryana, Dr. John Mathew, Haroon Rashid, Advocate Umesh Chand Sharma, Gopal Sharan, Anil Jain, Shabbir Carpet, Salam Jauhar, Syed Nasir Hasan, Anil Goswami, Dharmaveer Katewa, Jaynarayan, Sunita Chaturvedi, Kishore Jaluthria, Mausuf Ahmed, Kaushal Satyarthi, and Durga Verma.

Anil Yadav was designated as the media in-charge of the organization with unanimous consent from all members.

Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary Muzammil Rizvi emphasized FDCA’s mission to cultivate love, peace, harmony, and brotherhood among all religious communities in the state. The state-level meeting reaffirmed the forum’s commitment to spreading communal harmony and addressing the pressing issues of the day.
