Rampur, June 27: Newly elected Member of Parliament Mohibullah Nadvi from Rampur has pledged to transcend political divides and serve the interests of all citizens, particularly focusing on minorities, the deprived, and marginalized sections. Nadvi attributes his election victory to a campaign centered on constructive and positive issues rather than divisive politics.
Nadvi, speaking to Radiance before his oath-taking ceremony, emphasized the transformative power of issue-based politics. “Our campaign focused on development, education, health, and employment, avoiding divisive rhetoric. This approach resonated with voters across all communities. We consistently promoted communal harmony and discouraged hate politics to ensure peace in the region,” Nadvi said.
He noted that these positive issues not only helped build a successful campaign in Rampur but also strengthened the I.N.D.I.A. bloc’s position in Uttar Pradesh and beyond. “As our narrative gained traction, people’s confidence grew in our leaders Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, and the I.N.D.I.A. bloc,” he added.
Addressing the challenges he faces as an MP, Nadvi highlighted the importance of treating everyone equally, regardless of caste, religion, or class. He pledged to address the issues and problems of the people by rising above political affiliations and focusing on welfare politics.
Nadvi expressed his commitment to taking Rampur to new heights with active participation and cooperation from all communities. He acknowledged the supportive response he received during and after the elections and vowed to raise local and community issues in Parliament.
“The ongoing session is introductory, but in future sessions, I will address the concerns of Rampur and our community whenever possible,” he affirmed.
In his message to the people of Rampur, Nadvi urged citizens to embrace a constructive agenda, avoid negativity, and uphold faith in the Constitution and the law.
“We must nurture the tree of humanity in India. Our fertile land allows us all to grow and prosper. The results of the 18th Lok Sabha elections have fortified our democracy, and no force can undermine it,” he declared.
Commenting on the rise of mob lynching and the importance of the Places of Worship Act, 1991, Nadvi condemned the resurgence of mob violence under political patronage.
“Mob lynching is a grave injustice, and divine justice will prevail. The Places of Worship Act, 1991, must be implemented, and all historical names since 1947 should remain intact. We will work tirelessly to promote universal brotherhood and mercy, following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, to strengthen and transform our society,” he concluded.
