– Raheem Khan

Kota: A disturbing incident has come to light in Kota, Rajasthan, where an 8-year-old boy was stripped naked, beaten, and forced to dance by a group of drunk men near a Ganesh pandal. The incident occurred on September 10, and a video of the incident was posted on social media. The accused, including Kshitij Kasana, Yayati Upadhyay, Ashish Upadhyay, Gaurav Saini, Sandeep Singh, and Sumit, have been arrested.

The child’s family alleges that he was made to smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol. Former councilor and fair committee president Devendra Chaudhary Mama has been accused of involvement, but he has denied any knowledge of the incident.

Human rights activist Advocate Ansar Indori has complained to the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, demanding an impartial investigation into the matter.

The incident occurred when the child tampered with a DJ sound system at a fair, angering the drunk DJ sound youths. The child was beaten with shoes, forced to dance naked, and made to perform humiliating acts, including standing like a rooster and doing sit-ups. The child was eventually released at 4 am and returned home.

The police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway.
