– Raheem Khan

Jaipur: Marking the World Peace Day on 21 September, the World Organization of Religion and Knowledge (WORK) held a peace march here to promote unity and harmony. The event coincided with the organization’s Month of Compassion, a special celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s birth month, as noted by WORK spokesperson Syed Asgar Ali.

The peace march commenced at Deepak Marg and culminated at the historic Albert Hall, with enthusiastic participation from students of various schools. Participants carried vibrant placards adorned with quotes from Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and other religious teachings, all sharing a common message of peace and mutual respect.

The march was led by Likha Hassan, Head of WORK Rajasthan, and Zed A. Tahir Khan from Oxford Education Group. The event maintained a serene atmosphere as participants, including students, teachers, and members of WORK, marched without slogans, their quiet unity standing as a testament to the power of peace.

At the conclusion of the march, refreshments and sherbet were distributed to all attendees at Albert Hall. Among the key organizers were Dhairya, Rajesh, Lubena Firdaus, Dr. Malika, Jaibunnisa, Dr. Tasleem, Shahid, Muhammad Yusuf, and Nadeem Jonty, whose efforts helped make the event a success.
