Communal Harmony Day Celebrated in Jaipur

Jaipur: Under the Anuvrat Udbodhan Week 2024, Communal Harmony Day was celebrated at Bhikshu Sadhana Kendra, Shyam Nagar, here Tuesday. The program was presided over by Sadhvi Shri Madhurekha Ji Thana-5.

The program was organized by Anuvrat Vishwa Bharati Society and Anuvrat Samiti, Jaipur. The Anuvrat Udbodhan Week will also celebrate Non-Violence Day on October 2, Anuvrat Prerna Day on October 3, Environmental Purification Day on October 4, De-Addiction Day on October 5, Discipline Day on October 6, and Life Science Day on October 7.

In this series, Anuvrat Samiti will organize programs in different areas of the city to promote non-violence, communal harmony, environmental awareness, de-addiction, discipline in different forms to remove the problems and shortcomings arising in the current circumstances prevailing in the society and to make the society strong and clean.

In the Communal Harmony Day program, religious leaders of various religions like Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Christian, etc. participated and gave the message of peace and harmony.

On this occasion, State President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Rajasthan Mohammad Nazimuddin said that instead of spreading hatred, Islam gives the message of promoting brotherhood and establishing happiness. Spreading terror and panic or torturing others is not allowed in Islam. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was sent to teach the lesson of humanity. He advised everyone to live together and work for peace by eliminating mutual discrimination. Islam supports peace.

On this occasion, many speakers, including Senior Gandhian Leader Sawai Singh, President of Rajasthan Samagra Seva Sangh, Christian religious leader Father Vijay Pal Singh, Buddhist Mahasabha’s TC Rahul, etc. addressed the gathering.
