Jaipur: Jamia Hidayat Sanstha held a press conference at a hotel on MI Road, addressing the serious allegations made by Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena against Maulana Mohammad Fazlur Rahim, General Secretary of All India Muslim Personal Law Board. Mohammad Fazlur Rahim refuted the accusations, claiming that Meena is attempting to provoke a particular community and that all the allegations against him are baseless.
Responding to the accusations, Mohammad Shoaib, Secretary of Madrasa Jamiatul Hidaya, rejected the claims made by Meena. He clarified that there has been no sale of Waqf property and no illegal occupation or colony has been developed on the 500 bigha land in Amer and Kishanpura, as alleged by Meena. Shoaib further emphasized that the accusations are politically motivated.
Rahim has been actively reaching out to various leaders across the country to raise awareness about the contentious provisions of the Waqf Amendment Bill. His recent meetings include a discussion with Jagdambika Pal, Chairman of Joint Parliamentary Committee, which underscores that Rahim’s actions are not part of any anti-Modi movement.
Meena recently claimed at a BJP office here that Mohammad Fazlur Rahim was involved in the illegal occupation of around 1,400 bighas of land in Jaipur, including temple property, siway chak land, police department land, and Waqf land. In response, Rahim has labeled these accusations as false and politically driven.
