Sikar: The Human Welfare Foundation, New Delhi, distributed scholarship cheques to orphan children at Iqra Public Secondary School here Sunday, continuing its mission to support the education of underprivileged students.
For the past six years, HWF has been providing scholarships to orphan children in Sikar, helping them pursue their education without financial burden. During the event, 18 children received scholarships of Rs. 9,000 each.
Mohammad Sajid, General Secretary of HWF, addressed the children, emphasizing the importance of education in shaping their future. He also highlighted HWF’s welfare initiatives being conducted across the country to uplift underprivileged communities.
Anwar Hussain, Director of Iqra Public Secondary School, guided HWF’s delegation on a tour of the school’s computer lab, which was established by HWF. He explained the various courses offered in the lab, aimed at equipping students with essential digital skills.
The event was attended by Nafis Ahmed, Rajasthan coordinator of HWF, Usman Gani, former president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Sikar, as well as the parents and children who benefited from the scholarships.
