Malpura (Tonk): The Rajasthan Adhikari Karmchari Minority Association (RAKMA), Block Malpura has submitted a memorandum to Sub-Divisional Magistrate, addressed to Chief Minister of Rajasthan, urging the cancellation of disciplinary actions against two teachers. The association is advocating for the reinstatement of Asma Parveen, a teacher at Government Senior Secondary School, Beawar Khas, and the halting of departmental action against senior teacher Shagufta.
RAKMA block president, Mohammad Islam Nakvi, said Asma Parveen was suspended under false allegations of offering prayers (Namaz) and encouraging Muslim students to do the same. The suspension was ordered by District Education Officer, Beawar, on September 23. Similarly, senior teacher Shagufta faces departmental action initiated by Joint Director of School Education, Ajmer Division, which the association deems unjust and a violation of constitutional rights.
The memorandum argued that these actions contravene Articles 25 to 28 of the Indian Constitution, which protect the right to religious freedom. It also highlighted concerns about the continuous targeting of minority employees through unnecessary suspensions and baseless departmental actions.
The memorandum also raised concerns over the withdrawal of the Urdu teacher’s post at the school, stating it infringes on the rights of minority students wishing to study the language. It has urged the Chief Minister to intervene, cancel the suspensions, and reinstate the Urdu teacher post at the school.
