Elon Musk’s social media platform X has suspended a new account that posts messages on behalf of Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in Hebrew.
The account was suspended on Monday, a day after it was set up, with a brief note appended to it saying “X suspends accounts which violate the X Rules”.
According to Middle East Monitor, the platform did not specify which rules had been violated.
Khamenei’s office maintains multiple accounts that post on behalf of the supreme leader on X in different languages.
