AILAJ Sets Up Legal Aid Camp in Samrawata, Rajasthan

Jaipur: The All India Lawyers Association for Justice (AILAJ), a national organisation of advocates, organised a legal aid camp in Samrawata village, district Tonk Rajasthan to provide legal assistance to victims.

Ansar Indori, State Convener of AILAJ Rajasthan, issued a press statement saying that several advocates associated with the organisation heard the grievances of the victims and immediately forwarded complaints to concerned commissions and departments.

The majority of complaints received at the camp pertained to police harassment, unlawful targeting of innocent villagers, damage to property, and vehicles.

Indori stated that AILAJ will coordinate with its legal team to devise a strategy for further legal action. The organisation stands in solidarity with the victims of Samrawata and will continue to fight for their constitutional rights and human rights.

The camp was attended by advocates Mukesh, RTI activist Advocate Parvez Pathan, Advocate Lokesh Meena, Advocate Harvendra Kushwah, and several others who offered their services.
