Aligarh: The ICSSR-sponsored 10-day workshop on Qualitative Research Methodology, themed as “Qualitative Research Methodology with 21st Century Skills,” organised by the Department of Education, Aligarh Muslim University concluded with a valedictory function.
In his address, the chief guest, Prof. P.K. Dashora, Vice Chancellor, Mangalayatan University, Aligarh, spoke on “21st Century Skills and Viksit Bharat,” underscoring the need for integrating modern skills to contribute to India’s vision of progress and development. He urged the participants to embrace innovative approaches in their respective fields.
Prof. Nasrin, Former Chairperson, Department of Education, delivered a special address, focusing on qualitative research methodology, and discussed its significance in contemporary research.
Earlier, welcoming the guests, Prof. Mujibul Hasan Siddiqui, Chairperson, Department of Education, highlighted the significance of the workshop and appreciated the collective efforts that made it a success. He also congratulated the Co-course Director, Dr. Anjum Ahmed and her team of student coordinators for the successful management of the workshop.
Dr. Anjum Ahmed introduced the guests and felicitated with mementos and flowers.
Dr. Mohammad Shaheer Siddiqui, Course Director, presented a comprehensive report of the workshop and provided an overview of various sessions and key takeaways.
The chief guest, Prof. Dashora gave away certificates to the participants, while Prof. Raashid Nehal, Department of English, presented certificates of appreciation to the student coordinators.
Prof. Sajid Jamal extended a vote of thanks.
