Aligarh: Dr. Fahmeeda Zeenat, Assistant Professor in the Department of Niswan wa Qabalat at Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, served as a key speaker at a National Workshop and Training Programme organised by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). The event was held at the National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Bengaluru, from December 3 to 5.
A certified Master Trainer under NCISM, Dr. Zeenat delivered insightful lectures on critical topics such as “Reporting Standard Guidelines for Case Studies and Case Series with Emphasis on Clinical Research Outcomes in Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha” and “Ethical Standards, Research Integrity, and Addressing Scientific Misconduct in Academic Writing.”
These sessions were part of the PG Guide Orientation and Capacity Building Programme, designed to enhance research and publication expertise in traditional medicine systems.
Dr. Zeenat also conducted interactive sessions, guiding participants through hands-on activities to improve their practical understanding of clinical research and academic writing.
The workshop marked a significant step in advancing research and professional skills in Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani medicine, with Dr. Zeenat’s contributions earning widespread appreciation from attendees and organisers alike.
