WPI Rajasthan Prepares for Jaipur Municipal Elections

Jaipur: The Welfare Party of India, Rajasthan convened at its state office here Friday under the leadership of state president Waqar Ahmad Khan. The meeting focused on key strategies for the upcoming Jaipur municipal corporation elections.

Key decisions included intensifying the party’s outreach in areas where it plans to field candidates for councillor positions. To strengthen its grassroots presence, the party will soon launch a membership drive aimed at connecting with more people. Plans were also laid out for organising a workers’ conference in Jaipur to energise and mobilise party members.

In addition, the WPI committed to serving the public through community initiatives. These include organising camps to assist residents with Voter ID and Aadhaar Card registrations, as well as medical camps to provide health services.

The meeting was attended by prominent party leaders, including Jaipur in-charges Firuzuddin (District President), Hanif Johri (Joint Secretary), Abdul Ghaffar (City President), Tariq Ahmed (Rural President), Bahadur Khan (Hawa Mahal President), and Shafiq Ahmed (Office Secretary). Discussions centred on the effective implementation of these plans to maximise the party’s impact in the upcoming elections.
