Mangaluru: Bearys Institute of Technology Polytechnic on Saturday organised a career guidance programme for high school students. The programme titled ‘Career Quest-Discover Your Future’, held at Bearys Knowledge Campus, aims to empower high school students, highlighting informed choices about the Higher education options.
The event began with a warm welcome by Prof. Prithviraj, followed by an introductory address by Abdul Latheef, Principal of PUC. Dr. S.I. Manzur Basha delivered the keynote address, inspiring the students with insights into career planning. Dr. Aziz Musthafa conducted interactive counselling sessions, while Mr. Babu Shetty, Headmaster of Government High School, Deralakate, emphasised the importance of choosing the right career path.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Afshan. Rachana, a second-year Diploma CSE student, efficiently hosted the event as the master of ceremonies.
Participants also toured the Bearys Knowledge Campus, where they explored projects developed by BIT and BIT Polytechnic students.
Around 200 students and teachers from various schools, including GHS Pavoor, GHS New Padapu, Netaji GHS Deralakatte, and GHS Amblamogaru participated in the programme.
