A day later, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Naima Khatoon will inaugurate the screening of a Biopic on the life and times of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan on December 18 at 6 pm at the Kennedy Auditorium.
The screening of the biopic will take place under the aegis of the Sir Syed Academy, in association with the Cultural Education Centre. The biopic has been produced by Shoaib Choudhary and presented by Dr Masarrat Ali.
Prof Kidwai said that getting acquainted with the contributions of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, has been a matter of great interest to the scholars and students who wish to look into the life and time of Sir Syed closely for an analytical study of that era and his impact on the life of Muslims in Indian sub-continent. One of the big sources to make this study, apart from the books authored by many, could be a biopic made on his life and time, and hopefully this biopic will serve as a fulfilling source of information and impetus to the young generation.
