Aligarh: Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University celebrated its Foundation Day 2024 with a series of events involving the faculty members and students.
Addressing the students, the chief guest, AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Naima Khatoon emphasised the institution’s rich legacy and lauded its efforts to provide the patients with the best of services in dental health care. She urged the students to strive for professional and personal growth and attain excellence in various steams of dental care with discipline and perseverance.
She also commended College’s efforts to foster a holistic learning environment and reiterated her support in elevating the institution’s reputation.
The Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Prof Veena Maheshwari acknowledged the collaborative efforts that drive the institution forward.
The Principal of the College, Prof RK Tewari presented a report of achievements of the College and lauded the role of its faculty members in developing the academic environment and providing best of the dental health care services to the patients in OPDs.
Prof. N.D. Gupta highlighted College’s achievements and progress.
The winners of various competitive programmes held on various occasions were felicitated with prizes and certificates on this occasion and the College magazine, “Dental Buzz 4.0” was released by the chief guest, Prof Naima Khatoon. She lauded the efforts of Prof MK Jindal and Dr Saif Khan (Editor-in-Chief) and Kulsum Fazal (Editor) for bringing out a magazine rich in content.
The Vice-Chancellor presented awards and certificates for outstanding achievements, including Copyright Recognition to Prof. Saima Yunus Khan and the Prestigious Batch of the Year award to the Undergraduate Batch 2022.
