AAP Leader Sanjay Singh Accuses NDA of Voter List Manipulation in Delhi

New Delhi: Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has alleged that the NDA is involved in deleting names from the voters’ list in Delhi. His claims, made during a Rajya Sabha session, led to a heated exchange between AAP and BJP leaders.

Both BJP President J.P. Nadda and Union Minister Bhupender Yadav strongly refuted Singh’s accusations. Nadda asserted that names of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas are being removed from the voters’ list as per constitutional procedures. “Are you winning elections with their votes?” Nadda reportedly asked AAP, according to a PTI report.

Singh countered these claims, alleging that BJP workers had submitted applications to falsely label Hindu voters as “Rohingyas” and “Bangladeshi infiltrators” to delete their names from the voter rolls. “These people are not Bangladeshis or Rohingyas. They are Purvanchali brothers who have been living in Delhi for decades. The BJP is attempting to manipulate voter lists, but the people of Delhi will ensure they lose their deposits in the elections,” Singh stated during a discussion on the “Glorious Journey of 75 Years of the Constitution of India.”

Singh further called for a high-level inquiry into how such applications are being filed to remove names from the voters’ list.
