Stay Motivated and Work with Enthusiasm: JIH Maharashtra Secretary, Zafar Ansari

Jalna: Modern era is filled with immense challenges and responsibilities, requiring individuals to avoid despair and work with zeal and enthusiasm. This was the key message delivered by Zafar Ansari, Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maharashtra, during his Quranic discourse at the district-level Ijtema of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind for Jalna, Badnapur, and Ambad blocks. The event, held at Akbari Masjid in Ambad, catered to both men and women.

Syed Tauheed of Jalna presented a book review of “Indian Muslims – Challenges, Concerns, and Solutions,” authored by Jamaat’s National President Syed Sadatullah Husaini. Zafar Ansari then addressed the theme “Jamaat-e-Islami Hind – A Beacon of Light in Darkness,” providing detailed guidance.

A panel discussion on “Building Better Families under the Shade of Islam” featured insights from Ghazi Tariq (Jalna), Sara Firdaus (Ambad), Dr. Atique (Badnapur), and Mohammad Ismail (Ambad). Summarising the discussion, Maulana Sadiq Mazahiri, President JIH Ambad, highlighted the excessive use and misuse of mobile phones among youth. He warned that it is leading to moral decline, health issues, and wasted potential, jeopardising their future.

In the second session, Adiba Anam, member of GIO Jalna, recited a tarana, followed by a Hadith discourse by Aamina Almas, President of JIH Jalna Women’s Wing. Bashir Ahmed Rahi, Jalna Advisory Committee member, shared his insights on “The Role of Women in Building an Islamic Social System.”

Concluding the event, Zafar Ansari urged the attendees to work tirelessly and remain steadfast despite challenges. The programme saw a large turnout of men and women from Jalna, Ambad, and Badnapur. Volunteers from JIH, YMM, SIO, and GIO played a vital role in ensuring the event’s success.
