Aligarh: Professor Naima Khatoon, Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), was presented with a memento by Professor Hammad Usmani, Organising Secretary of the Global Alumni Meet cum CME, on behalf of around 200 alumni from across the globe. The presentation took place at the Vice Chancellor’s office as part of the meet organised by the Department of Anaesthesiology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC).
The alumni, representing various parts of the world, fondly shared memories of their time at AMU and expressed their gratitude for the university’s role in shaping their professional and personal lives.
Acknowledging the efforts of the Department of Anaesthesiology, Professor Naima Khatoon praised the team for their dedication in organising a successful event. She emphasised the importance of maintaining strong ties with alumni, stating, “By promoting connections with our former students, we create opportunities to enhance our academic standing and provide a platform for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater.”
