Dharmik Janmanch Established in Maharashtra for Peace and Harmony

Pune: To enable interfaith dialogue and promoting peace, harmony, and mutual trust in society, Dharmik Janmanch Maharashtra, an interfaith platform, has been established. The initiative seeks to spread messages of unity, harmony, and peace through the efforts of religious leaders from various faiths. The Governing Board of the organisation was announced during a special programme held here, attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Engineer Mohammad Salim, National Convenor of All India Dharmik Jan Morcha.

Dharmik Janmanch Maharashtra (DJM) aims to unite communities from diverse religious backgrounds. The Governing Board includes notable figures such as Satyapal Maharaj, Akot; Dr. Mangeshda, Mumbai; Pastor Tribhuvan, Mumbai; Dr. Rafiq Sayed, Maharashtra Convenor; and Mohammed Shafi Farooqui, Co-Convenor. The event saw active participation from prominent social workers and religious leaders from Pune, Mumbai, and other districts. Attendees expressed confidence that the platform’s establishment would help reduce religious discord and promote justice, brotherhood, and peace across the state.

The platform is set to organise discussions, seminars, cultural events, and workshops to foster dialogue among various religious communities. Its primary objective is to build an inclusive society by addressing and reducing religious conflicts. The initiative was warmly welcomed by attendees, who expressed hope that the organisation would effectively lead society toward unity and harmony through its activities and outreach programmes.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Rafiq Sayed announced that DJM would soon launch a series of activities across the state to further its mission of interfaith dialogue and societal peace.
