Mumbai: The Unified Education Foundation (UEF) conducted a guidance workshop for scholarship exams for students of Grades 5 and 8. The workshop was held at Scholars High School, Jogeshwari West, with participation from 117 students representing various schools in Western Mumbai. UEF also awarded prizes to students who had achieved A grade in the Elementary and Intermediate Drawing Exam Workshops as a gesture of encouragement.
The workshop was graced by esteemed guests, including Ashfaq Sir, BIT Officer of Education Department, BMC, who provided valuable guidance to the students. Tazmeen Dalwai, known for her exceptional academic achievements, was presented as a role model. She inspired the students by sharing her experiences and encouraging them to excel in their performance.
Rehan Shaikh, an expert in scholarship exams, provided insightful information about the exams, including detailed explanations of the paper pattern and an engaging session on mental aptitude. Mahfooz Siddiqui, Chairman of Scholars High School, also motivated the students with his words of encouragement.
Rehana presented an overview of UEF activities and past achievements. Syed Habibuddin, UEF General Secretary highlighted UEF initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of education in schools.
A special guidance session for parents was also conducted with the distinguished guests, discussing topics such as academic success and holistic development of children. The session delved into the role of parents at home in enabling their children’s all-around growth.
