New Delhi: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), Delhi Halqa, has awarded scholarships to journalism students from various colleges across the national capital, reaffirming its commitment to fostering ethical journalism and media education.
This year, 30 students pursuing MA, BA, and diploma courses in journalism, mass communication, and convergent media received financial assistance from JIH Delhi. The initiative aims to support aspiring journalists and equip them with the resources necessary to contribute positively to society.
The scholarship cheques were personally handed over by Ameer-e-Halqa, Janab Salimullah Khan, during a program held at the CTAG office on January 31. Addressing the students, he emphasized JIH’s dedication to empowering young journalists and announced plans for workshops, mentorship programs, and internship opportunities in the coming months.
