Nandurbar: The 1990 batch of Anglo-Urdu High School & Junior College, Nandurbar, held a nostalgic reunion after 35 years at Ali Tower Hall. The event aimed to relive cherished memories, offering an opportunity for friends to reconnect.
Over the past decade, about 60 alumni stayed connected via WhatsApp, which helped bring together former students from various states and even abroad. Some attended with their families, showcasing unity. Nostalgic recollections of school life were shared through laughter and heartfelt conversations.
The event began with Quran recitation by Maulana Nasir Hussain, followed by a welcome address from Hafiz Qazi Abdul Mosawwir. A special highlight was the presence of a commercial pilot from Florida, the daughter of a former student. Attendees introduced themselves, sharing key moments of their lives. Engineers, doctors, teachers, and businessmen credited their success to the discipline and guidance of teachers like Firoz Sir and Rafiq Sir, who were specially honored. A moment of remembrance was dedicated to those no longer present.
A class photo exhibition, storytelling, and humor-filled anecdotes added warmth to the gathering. After visiting their alma mater, the event concluded with a commitment to hold reunions annually. The gathering, marked by unity and gratitude, ended with prayers and fond memories.
