Jale, Darbhanga: Islamic seminaries have safeguarded religious and scholarly heritage, fostering Quranic and Hadith teachings along with Arabic and Urdu studies. Laying the foundation for Darul Quran and Darul Ta’am and addressing an event, Dr. Syed Afzal Hussain Qasmi lauded Darul Uloom Sabil Al-Falah as a fulfillment of Qazi Mujahidul Islam Qasmi’s vision. He noted that the institution, led by Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, is a great blessing for the region.
Students presented Quranic recitations, Seerah quizzes, poetry, and speeches in Urdu and Arabic, earning praise. Qari Mirza Naseer Ahmed Baig emphasized the institution’s role in preserving Arabic and Urdu literary traditions while also offering modern education and the Hifz Plus program under the Shaheen Group, Karnataka.
Saying “Madaris have always played an invaluable role” Mufti Aamir Mazhari urged students to pursue complete education, while Maulana Muzaffar Ahsan Rahmani highlighted seminaries’ contributions to moral and scholarly training. Scholars congratulated successful students and encouraged academic excellence.
The event featured Quran recitations, na’at, speeches in multiple languages, and poetry by Allama Iqbal. The foundation stone for Darul Quran and Darul Ta’am was laid by Dr. Afzal Hussain Qasmi, Maulana Arifur Rahman Mazhari, and Qari Mirza Naseer Baig. The program concluded with a supplication and a vote of thanks.
