JIH President Expresses Condolence on Demise of Prince Aga Khan IV

New Delhi: Syed Sadatullah Husaini, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Prince Karim Al-Husseini, Aga Khan IV, describing his passing as the end of an era of exceptional philanthropic and developmental contributions.

In a condolence message, Husaini acknowledged Aga Khan IV’s lifelong dedication to social upliftment, which transcended religious and geographical boundaries. As the 49th Imam of the Nizari Ismaili community, Aga Khan IV spearheaded numerous humanitarian initiatives through the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), establishing institutions in education, healthcare, economic development, and cultural preservation. His initiatives impacted millions across Asia, Africa, and beyond.

Husaini also highlighted Aga Khan IV’s contributions to architectural excellence, particularly through the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, which reflected his commitment to cultural heritage and sustainable development.

Praising his relentless efforts to improve the lives of the underprivileged, irrespective of faith or background, Husaini remarked that his legacy of service and humanitarianism would continue to inspire generations. He extended heartfelt condolences to the family, followers, and well-wishers of Aga Khan IV during this moment of grief.
