Delhi Without CM Even After 10 Days Due to BJP’s Internal Conflict: Atishi

– Abdul Bari Masoud

NEW DELHI: Outgoing CM Atishi criticized BJP for failing to name a Chief Minister even after 10 days, saying it proves PM Modi doesn’t trust his 48 MLAs. She accused BJP of lacking leadership, vision, and a roadmap for Delhi.

Atishi stated, “10 days since the 8 February results, people expected a CM by 9 February and a swearing-in by 10 February. But even now, BJP has not decided.”

She claimed Modi doesn’t trust his MLAs, knowing they are unfit to govern. “Their only skill is looting Delhi and misusing public funds,” she alleged.

Atishi blamed BJP for ruining MCD for 15 years, looting funds, and emptying its coffers. “This is why Modi won’t pick any MLA as CM,” she said.

She questioned BJP’s ability to govern, saying they lack a vision, a roadmap, or a plan for Delhi. “Their incompetence is exposed,” she asserted.

Atishi demanded BJP clarify if they are governing or not. “During power cuts in Uttam Nagar, Nawada, Sant Nagar, Burari, Trilokpuri, Sangam Vihar, and Deoli, BJP blames me as caretaker CM. But when cleaning Yamuna, they claim LG is in charge. If they take credit for Yamuna, they must also take responsibility for worsening power cuts,” she said.
