Mangaluru: Unity Hospital hosted the launch of Mohamed Ali Shukri’s book, You Are the One and Only, on February 12, 2025. Chairman C.P. Habeeb Rahman unveiled the book, joined by director Ashfaque M. Habeeb, neurosurgeons Dr. Sahil Bantwal and Dr. Sagar Bantwal, hospital seniors, doctors, and friends.
Shukri, a speaker from Bahrain, has a deep bond with Unity Hospital. Inspired by the staff’s dedication, he shared his experience in the book’s ninth chapter, Miracles in Mangalore. He was the first Middle Eastern finalist in the Toastmasters International World Championship of Public Speaking and has spoken at global events. His book, first launched at the Delhi International Book Fair, urges readers to be authentic, value life, and contribute positively.
At the event, Shukri thanked Unity Hospital’s management and staff, praising their outstanding care.
Based in Manama, Bahrain, Shukri specializes in occupational health, safety management, leadership, behavioral safety, and training. His career spans roles as a power generation operator, safety superintendent, corporate trainer, consultant, business development manager, and CEO.
An Accredited Speaker since 2020, he holds a diploma in electrical engineering from the University of Bahrain and is pursuing a master’s in transformational leadership.
