Madhubani: The annual closing and award distribution ceremony was held at Madrasa Islamia Bahta, Madhubani district, under the patronage of Maulana Rizwan Ahmed Qasmi, former teacher at Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband, and the supervision of Maulana Uzair Qasmi and Janab Muhammad Naseem.
The event commenced with a Quranic recitation by Qari Hidayatullah, followed by Na’ats presented by Qari Ashfaq Karimi, Hafiz Fasihullah Bahtavi, and Hafiz Arman. Maulana Parvez Mazahiri conducted the program.
In his address, Maulana Rizwan Ahmed Qasmi praised Qari Owais Irfani’s efforts and emphasized the Holy Quran’s universal significance, urging Muslims to integrate its teachings into daily life. Maulana Inayatullah Qasmi described Islamic seminaries as powerhouses, essential for preserving Muslim identity. Maulana Shahid Hussain Qasmi highlighted women’s role in shaping future generations.
Maulana Nasrullah Qasmi, in his keynote speech, stressed the importance of madrasas, while Maulana Samiullah Nadwi underscored the value of primary Islamic education. Awards were distributed to outstanding students for their achievements. The program concluded with a prayer by the session’s president, attended by scholars, teachers, and parents.
