Aligarh: The Department of Business Administration at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Kishanganj Centre, Bihar successfully organised Sportiva 2025, a four-day sporting event, celebrating athletic competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony featuring speeches by key sports representatives, Sports Teacher Incharge, Mr. Aquarab Ullah Khan, Sports Secretary Mr. Mohammad Younus Khan, Joint Secretary Games and Sports Mr. Haidar Khan, and Secretary Games and Sports Ms. Tanishka Varshney.
The opening ceremony was marked by a ribbon-cutting and a Tug of War competition, where MBA second-year students secured victory. Throughout the festival, students participated in cricket, football, chess, carrom, badminton, relay races, 100m sprint, three-legged race, discus throw, shot put, and fun races like lemon, book balance, and sack race.
The event concluded with the award of medals and trophies in recognition of the achievements of the winners and participants.
Dr. Zeba Naz, Coordinator of the Unit, commended all participants and organisers for their dedication and efforts in making Sportiva 2025 a success.
