Gaza: Despite an ongoing ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, Israeli forces continue their relentless aggression against Palestinians in Gaza. Even during the holy month of Ramadan, Israel has shown no restraint. In an action that has deepened the humanitarian crisis, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has blocked the supply of essential goods to Gaza.
The first phase of the prisoner exchange agreement has concluded, with Hamas rejecting the Witkoff proposal, which called for a phased ceasefire. In retaliation, Israel has halted the supply of essential goods, further worsening Gaza’s already dire conditions.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have killed four Palestinians in fresh attacks. According to Palestinian health officials, two individuals were martyred in an Israeli drone strike in Beit Hanoun, a city in northern Gaza.
Israeli forces justified the attack, claiming their troops identified “suspicious activities” near military posts in northern Gaza. Israel accused the Palestinians of planting explosive devices, stating that the Israeli Air Force carried out the strike to neutralize the perceived threat.
As Ramadan begins, Palestinians in Gaza continue to suffer from extreme shortages of food, water, medicine, and other essential supplies due to Israel’s blockade. The situation remains catastrophic, with humanitarian organizations warning of an escalating crisis.
The international community has repeatedly urged an end to the blockade and the immediate provision of humanitarian aid. However, Israel’s ongoing restrictions and military aggression have only exacerbated the suffering of Palestinian civilians.
