– Raheem KhanJaipur – SDPI workers protested on Tuesday night in Jaipur against the ED’s arrest of National President M.K. Faizi.
SDPI Rajasthan leaders, including State President Ashfaq Hussain, Vice President Dr. Shahabuddin, Committee Member Khalid Ansari, Jaipur District President Zafar Ahmed, and General Secretary Ishaq Sheikh, attended.
Ashfaq Hussain condemned Faizi’s arrest, calling it BJP’s political revenge to silence dissent. He accused the government of misusing agencies to target opponents.
Dr. Shahabuddin said the arrest shows the government fears SDPI’s democratic activities. He highlighted SDPI’s fight against the anti-people Waqf Amendment Bill, calling the arrest an attack on protest rights.
Speakers called Faizi’s arrest illegal and demanded his release. Protesters chanted against hooliganism and for the rule of law.
