AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has accused the BJP-led central government of unfair treatment toward Telangana. He claimed that despite eight BJP MPs from the state, including Union ministers, Telangana is not receiving its due share of projects and allocations.
Owaisi highlighted disparities in administrative approvals, citing that smaller states like Kerala, Assam, Meghalaya, Punjab, and Jharkhand have more IPS officers than Telangana. He also emphasized that the state’s proposals for infrastructure projects, including Hyderabad Metro expansion and the Regional Ring Road, remain pending.
His remarks came after attending a Telangana government meeting with MPs to address pending central issues. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has also alleged that BJP leader G Kishan Reddy is obstructing key projects for political reasons, a claim that Kishan Reddy has denied.
