Systematic Violence Against Muslim Women: From Digital Hate to Real-World Atrocities

The AI-generated images depicting sexual violence against Muslim women by Hindu men are not mere digital obscenities; they are calculated tools of hate, meant to degrade, dehumanize, and pave the way for real-world brutality.
This is not an isolated event. We have witnessed similar attacks before—when Muslim women’s images were auctioned on Sulli Deals and Bulli Bai, when Hindu men brazenly displayed their misogyny and Islamophobia without facing consequences. These are not just instances of online hate; they form part of a systematic ecosystem of dehumanization targeting Muslim women.
This propaganda seeks to strip Muslim women of agency, turning our bodies into battlegrounds for Hindutva’s ideological war. We live in a nation where convicted rapists in the Bilkis Bano case are garlanded as heroes, where those who call for mass sexual violence against Muslim women receive applause instead of punishment.
These AI-generated images are not distortions but extensions of reality. Their purpose is clear: to manufacture social acceptance of the violence that Hindu supremacists already justify. They seek to normalize and legitimize sexual violence against Muslim women, making it appear inevitable, permissible, and even justified.
We refuse to remain silent victims of this orchestrated violence. Social media platforms must be held directly accountable for enabling and amplifying this dehumanization. If justice still exists within our courts, immediate action must be taken against this organized assault on Muslim women.
We will not be erased. We will not be violated. We will not be silenced.
We will resist—and ensure that the world bears witness.
