Jaipur: Various organizations, including the Ambedkarite Party of India, Dalit Muslim Ekta Manch, Jan Morcha Rajasthan, Bhim Army, Welfare Party of India, Ambedkar Vichar Manch, SDPI, and SC, ST, OBC Minority Reservation Rights Manch, organized a Holi & Ramadan celebration at Hotel Arco Palace, Jaipur, to strengthen the Ganga-Jamuna ethos and foster communal harmony.

Hindu and Muslim leaders emphasized peace, love, and respect for each other’s traditions, pledging to honor Ramadan’s sanctity and celebrate Holi with mutual respect. Prominent figures like Abdul Latif Arco, Hafiz Manzoor, Dashrath Singh Hinonia, Mohan Bairwa, K.C. Ghumaria, Mehta Ram Kala, Waqar Ahmed, Dr. Shahabuddin, Ranjit Jatav, and Sagiruddin stressed the need for unity amid rising religious and social prejudice, stating that such events promote mutual understanding and peace.
Organizations urged people to prevent religion from becoming a source of division and called on the administration to ensure harmony during Ramadan. Speakers also opposed the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024, calling it a violation of religious freedom that endangers mosques, dargahs, cemeteries, and Waqf properties. They condemned political suppression and urged an end to ED harassment of opposition leaders.
