Israel’s Relentless Airstrikes Kill Over 400 Palestinians, Violating Ceasefire

Gaza: In yet another act of aggression, Israeli forces launched massive airstrikes across Gaza, killing more than 404 Palestinians, including women and children. Hospitals are overwhelmed as medical officials struggle to cope with the rising number of casualties, warning of an escalating humanitarian disaster. The attack violated the ceasefire agreement in place since January, further intensifying the 17-month-long war, reported the Al Jazeera.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu authorized the strikes, accusing Hamas of refusing to amend ceasefire terms. However, Palestinian leaders and international observers see it as yet another example of Israel’s deliberate provocation and continued occupation. As bombs destroyed homes and infrastructure, the Israeli military ordered the evacuation of eastern Gaza, including Beit Hanoun, pushing thousands into further displacement and suffering.
The White House extended its support to Israel, reinforcing global concerns over Western complicity in the assault on Palestinians. The airstrikes came amid a complete blockade of food, fuel, and medical aid to Gaza, deepening the crisis for the besieged population. Hamas leader Izzat al-Risheq condemned the attack, calling it a “death sentence” for Israeli hostages still held in Gaza and accusing Netanyahu of fueling war to consolidate his far-right coalition.
A devastating strike on a home in Rafah killed 17 members of one family, including five children, their parents, and another father with his three children. In Khan Younis, hospitals were overwhelmed as ambulances struggled to bring in the wounded, many of them women and children. Reports from the ground described scenes of destruction, with victims lying in overcrowded hospital corridors and desperate cries for help.
The renewed assault highlights the systematic oppression and suffering inflicted on Gaza’s 2 million residents, who remain trapped in an open-air prison under continuous bombardment. With Israel cutting off all aid supplies, many fear a deepening humanitarian catastrophe as the world remains silent in the face of these war crimes.
