The Supreme Court, acting on a petition filed by APCR’s legal team, issued a notice to the chief officer and administrator of the Malvan Municipal Council over the unlawful demolition of Kitabulla Hamidulla Khan’s rented tin shed scrap shop and residence.
The demolition followed accusations against Khan’s 14-year-old son of chanting anti-India slogans during a cricket match on February 23. APCR legal team consisting of AOR Fauzia Shakeel, AOR Ujjwal Singh, and Adv. M Huzaifa, argued that this action violated the Court’s November 13, 2024, ruling against “bulldozer justice.”
