AIUTC Core Aim is Participation in National Medical Mission and Promotion of Unani Medicine: Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad

New Delhi: Professor Mushtaq Ahmad, National President of All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC), while discussing the activities scheduled for April 2025, advised doctors associated with Unani medicine to serve the public with commitment. He stated that the fundamental objective of their movement is to ensure participation in the National Medical Mission and to work for the promotion of Unani medicine.

He further stated that, with the objective of public service, the mission titled “Unani Upchar – Janata Ke Dwar, Mission 2025” (Unani Treatment – At the Doorstep of the People, Mission 2025) is ongoing, following the successful completion of the target of organising 100 free Unani medical camps by December 2024. In continuation of this mission, an Eid Milan (festive gathering) and a free Unani medical camp was organised on April 6, 2025, in collaboration with the Model Village Trust at Kanchan Kunj, South Delhi.

Similarly, a state convention is scheduled to be held in Mumbai on April 13, and a national convention will take place in Allahabad on April 27. The national convention will review the status of Unani medicine in the state of Uttar Pradesh, as well as discuss its overall situation at the national level.

Dr. D.R. Singh, National Organising Secretary of AIUTC, said that special attention will be given to the issues faced by Unani medicine at the state level, and the movement of the Congress will be advanced accordingly.
