Coimbatore : In a significant step towards accessible healthcare, the Life Zone Scan Centre was inaugurated at the Life Zone Clinic in Karumbukadai, aiming to cater to the medical needs of economically weaker sections of society.
The centre was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu State National League General Secretary Alhaj Althaf Hussain, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. P S Umar Farook, General Secretary of Social Welfare Trust, delivered the presidential address.
During the event, Alhaj Althaf Hussain also unveiled the official logo of the Life Zone Scan Centre, which was received by Dr Fathimuthu Nooraniya. The function was attended by Social Welfare Trust Vice President Shabbir Ahamed, trustees, doctors, nursing staff from Life Zone Clinic, and members of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind including its coordinator and secretary M Abdul Hakkim.
The Life Zone Clinic, including its pharmacy and laboratory, operates under the aegis of the Social Welfare Trust and is known for its dedicated services to below-poverty-line families. Additionally, the trust’s Mobile Clinic continues to provide free healthcare services to underserved communities.
