The Nai Duniya Foundation honoured several stalwarts for their outstanding contributions in various fields.

The Foundation presented the ‘Media for Unity Awards’ at the India International Center on Saturday evening, in the presence of many dignitaries.
These awards were given in memory of those who stood for social justice and opposed division and bigotry.
Awards were presented across categories like print, television, digital, theatre, and literature.
The ‘Media for Unity Awards’ were dedicated to individuals who, despite challenges, upheld journalism’s core values and spoke against injustice and oppression.
The Kuldeep Nayar Award for English Journalism went to senior journalist Suhasini Haidar.
The Khushwant Singh Award for Literature was awarded to senior politician Arun Shourie.
The Prabha Dutt Lifetime Achievement Award was given to senior journalist Mrinal Pande.
The SP Singh Award for Electronic Media was presented to Preeti Choudhary of India Today.
The Habib Tanveer Award for Theatre was given to M.K. Raina, a veteran of theatre and cinema.
The Maulana Abdul Waheed Siddiqui Award for Urdu Journalism was given to Navin Suri, a senior Urdu journalist.
The Parabhash Joshi Award for Hindi Journalism went to senior journalist Om Thanvi.
The Shyam Benegal Award for Visual Media was presented to filmmaker Anubhav Sinha.
The Swami Agnivesh Award for Social Causes was given to the India Love Project.
The Digital Media Award was awarded to Siddharth Varadarajan, founding editor of The Wire.
Chief Guest Justice Madan Lokur urged both media and judiciary to face present-day challenges. He called on them to defend press freedom, judicial independence, the Constitution, and the idea of India.
