13-Year-Old Muslim Boy Stabbed for Refusing to Chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in Kanpur

In a disturbing incident from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a 13-year-old Muslim boy was allegedly attacked by a group of minors for refusing to chant “Jai Shri Ram.” The incident took place in the Sarsaul area under the Maharajpur police circle , reported the Siasat. According to reports, the group initially approached the boy, demanding that he touch their feet. When he refused, they became aggressive and insisted he chant “Jai Shri Ram.” Upon his second refusal, the boy was allegedly stabbed with a broken glass bottle.
The boy was immediately rushed to a local hospital, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries. The police have registered an FIR and are investigating the case, stating that they are treating the matter with seriousness and verifying the claims made in the complaint.
This incident has raised significant concerns about rising communal tensions and the involvement of minors in violent acts.
