Aligarh: The Literary and Cultural Club of Aligarh Muslim University Centre, Malappuram, organised the Food Fest 2025, titled Bazm-e-Zaiqa, which was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Sudheer Babu, President of Elamkulam Grama Panchayat.
Following the inauguration, faculty members, students, and invited guests took a round through the food stalls that offered a delightful spread of regional, traditional, and international cuisines. Students from various departments participated in the event with enthusiasm, presenting an impressive array of dishes that reflected cultural diversity, culinary innovation, and a shared passion for food. The open-air venue, filled with the aroma of spices and vibrant decorations, created a lively atmosphere that brought the campus community together.
Food stalls were evaluated by a panel of judges based on Taste and Quality, Theme and Decoration, Value for Money, Hygiene, and Creativity in Presentation. The panel included Mr. Shahnawaz Ahmad Malik, Mr. Shakeel Ahmad, Mr. Najmudheen T, and Mr. Razi ur Raheem.
After careful assessment, the award winning top three stalls: Ghulam Gaus and team (Stall-6), Faiz Khan and team (Stall-10), and Shahana Jahan and team (Stall-9) secured the first, second and third prizes, respectively.
Dr. Sadaf Jafri (Teacher In-Charge), Kaneez Zahra (Student Convenor), Mr. Afzal Ghafoor and Mr. Amir (Joint Convenors), Dr. Blessytha and Dr. Shally Victor (Convenors, Literary and Cultural Club), and Mr. Asif Haider (Secretary, Cultural Club), along with Sana Anjum (Joint Secretary, Literary and Cultural Club) played a key role in organising the event.
