Shahjahanpur,: Madanpur police has arrested the accused Baba who raped a six year old girl and sent him to jail. There was a wedding procession in a village in Madanpur area on Monday night. During the wedding ceremony, a six year old girl from the village was also playing and dancing with other children on the DJ, reported the Dainik Bhasker.
Meanwhile, an unknown person took the girl to the field and raped her. The girl, covered in blood, somehow reached her home and fainted. The family took her to CHC. Where the doctors, seeing her critical condition, referred her to medical college.
The scared girl said that the person who did wrong to her looks like a Baba. On the complaint of the family, the police registered a case against the unknown Baba under the rape and POCSO Act and started searching for the accused.
During the investigation, the name of Baba Jugendra, who lives in Madanpur police station area, came to light. On Thursday, based on the information of an informer, the police arrested the accused Baba Jugendra from Chandokha Tiraha on Katra-Jalalabad Road and sent him to jail.
