AIUTC-Delhi, Upright Welfare Foundation Trust Host Free Medical Camp at Zayed College, Shaheen Bagh

Disseminate Correct Information and Avoid Misinformation: Dr. Syed Farooq

New Delhi: The All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC) Delhi in collaboration with the Upright Welfare Foundation Trust, New Delhi organised a free medical camp at Zayed College, Shaheen Bagh here Sunday.

The camp was inaugurated by renowned social and welfare activist Dr. Syed Farooq. Emphasising the importance of spreading correct information, he stated that especially in matters of religion, knowledge of obligatory duties it is extremely important. He added that strictly adhering to obligations will protect us from getting caught up in undesirable practices, as these are the root causes of confusion and discord.

Dr. Farooq further stated that if food and medicine are adulterated, they can cause harm instead of promoting health. Therefore, we should adopt a pure and honest lifestyle, seek lawful (halal) earnings, and stay away from crimes such as adulteration.

Key contributors to the success of the camp included the President of the Upright Welfare Foundation Trust, Sajid Khan, General Secretary Hussain Ahmad Siddiqui, and the head of Zayed College, Maulana Muhammad Zakariya. Others who played a significant role included Professor Muhammad Idrees, Professor Syed Muhammad Arif Zaidi, Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan, Dr. Shakeel Ahmad Meeruthi, Dr. Ghayasuddin Siddiqui, Dr. Muhammad Arif Saifi, Dr. Athar Mahmood, Dr. Altaf Ahmad, Dr. Ashfaq Bhatt, Dr. Samina Ashfaq, Dr. Nida Mumtaz, Dr. Ashish Srivastava, Hakim Naeem Raza, Hakim Muhammad Murtaza Dehlavi, Hakim Aftab Alam, Dr. Khurshid Alam, Muhammad Owais, and Israar Ahmad Ujjaini, among others.

A large number of local residents benefited from the camp. On this occasion, some renoewned journalists also participated in the camp and encouraged the volunteers. Notable names included Muhammad Arif Iqbal, Javed Akhtar, Haqqani Al-Qasmi, Faheem Ahmad Azmi, Wafa Azmi, A.N. Shibli, Ashraf Bastavi, Mune Bharti, Naushad Alam Nadwi, Munawwar Hasan Kamal, Rauf Ramesh, and Syed Izharul Hasan.

Free blood tests were conducted by Delhi Laboratory. At the end of the programme, students of Zayed College, guests, and volunteers were honoured with certificates and mementos. Maulana Muhammad Zakariya expressed gratitude to all participants.
