The skies we often look for hope and inspiration turned dark with a tragedy unlike any other.
The Ahmedabad plane crash, which took the souls of around 290 precious lives, is not just a
headline. It is a devastating tragedy that has left an irreplaceable void. Our hearts bleed and
our eyes weep. Our thoughts and prayers are with every family that lost loved ones.
Each life lost is a world gone, every drop of blood sacred, every heartbeat matters. Our
standing in solidarity is not a formality; it is a testimony to our sense of humanity, our
empathy and the strong bond that everyone of us share with our Creator.
This tragedy is a call to awaken, a clarion call for the living. While we pray and mourn, we
must also act responsibly. Disasters of this nature require:
Transparent and impartial investigations
Identification and rectification of technical and human errors
Enforcement of stricter safety regulations
Upgrading of emergency response systems
Every life saved in the future will be a befitting tribute for those who lost their lives today.
Authorities must rise above formalities and show a genuine commitment to public safety.
The Air India Dreamliner flight carried people of all kinds, but they couldn’t reach their
destination. Their dreams now lie buried under wreckage. Their conversations, forever
incomplete. Their arrival, eternally delayed. Life reveals itself in moments like fragile,
fleeting and highly unpredictable. This unpredictability spares no one, not the elite, not the
ordinary, not the strong and not the weak.
When everything around us is uncertain and unpredictable, the only certain thing we must
prepare for is what comes after death.
