AMU Faculty Members Participate in Int’l Conf. on Multidisciplinary Humanities and Social Sciences

Aligarh: Faculty members from the Department of Community Medicine, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), made notable contributions to the International Conference on “Multidisciplinary Approach to Humanities and Social Sciences” held at Noida International University.

Dr. Sameena Ahmed, Assistant Professor, presented a research paper titled “The Dual Burden of Inflation and Healthcare Expenditure: Examining Financial Strain on Families Below the Poverty Line through Updated Socioeconomic Scales in India” in online mode. Her presentation was well-received for its topical relevance and analytical depth, effectively highlighting how community health perspectives intersect with broader socio-economic challenges.

In addition, Prof. Saira Mehnaz chaired a session during the conference in online mode. Her insightful commentary added significant value to the session, encouraging vibrant discussions among scholars from diverse academic backgrounds.
