Iran Launches Missile Attacks on U.S. Bases in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq in Retaliation

Iran has launched missile attacks on U.S. military bases located in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq. The operation comes in direct response to recent American strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, reported the Reuters.
According to Iran’s state news agency Tasnim, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has officially named the operation “Basharat al-Fath” (Glad Tidings of Victory), claiming it marks the beginning of a “powerful and victorious” retaliation.
The IRGC confirmed that multiple missiles were launched targeting U.S. installations, with a direct hit on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and another on an American base in Iraq. Reports also suggest strikes occurred in Bahrain and Kuwait, although specific locations have yet to be officially confirmed. Iranian officials have stated that this was a deliberate and direct counterattack, warning that any assault on Iran’s sovereignty, integrity, or national security would be met with a forceful response.
A statement released by the Revolutionary Guards declared, “A clear message has been sent to the White House and its allies.”
While reports of explosions have emerged from Qatar in the past hour, no official confirmation has yet been provided regarding casualties or material damage. The U.S. government has not issued a formal response at the time of publishing.
Strategic analysts note that Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and U.S. installations across Iraq are central to Washington’s military presence in the Middle East, making them high-priority targets in any conflict escalation.
This incident marks a significant turning point, raising fears of broader regional conflict and international instability.
